Porto-based agency Webcomum provides digital "click" to companies in 40 countries

From number 326 on Rua das Andresas in Porto, and just a click away, the digital agency Webcomum Digital Business & Tech provides web development and digital marketing services to more than 500 companies in 40 countries. With clients in sectors ranging from pharmaceuticals to automotive, wines, tourism, health, and energy, it generated around four million euros in revenue in 2023 and anticipates 25% growth this year.

With almost 18 years of activity, Webcomum has more than 3,500 projects in its portfolio, with the highest concentration in European markets. About 30% of the clients are multinationals. Among the goals set for this year is strengthening the company's position in the national market and expanding the business globally, founder and CEO Fernando Félix tells ECO/Local Online.

“After a year of successes in 2023, we look to 2024 with determination. We are committed to consolidating our position in the Portuguese market and expanding our operations internationally,” says the CEO of the digital company. “Strengthening strategic partnerships, diversifying markets and sectors of operation, and enhancing brand and online presence” are some of the strategies for this year, adds the Webcomum leader.

The company primarily focuses on web development and digital marketing, creating e-commerce solutions and customized web applications, “with system integration that improves both performance and search engine visibility,” describes the executive. In the marketing spectrum, it covers everything from performance marketing to content marketing and email marketing, aiming to strengthen brands' online presence.

In addition to these services, the northern digital agency, which employs a total of 50 people, also operates in the design area, specializing in UX/UI, branding, graphic design, and video production “to ensure that each brand communicates its story in an impactful and memorable way.”

On the horizon for the Webcomum CEO is also leveraging the resources of artificial intelligence (AI), “aiming to integrate more advanced solutions into existing services,” as well as “exploring new opportunities that AI offers,” notes Fernando Félix. He also states that he intends to lead in innovation, developing projects that enhance user experience while focusing on process optimization that ensures client data protection and privacy.
